Yllä oleva kuva oikeastaan kiteyttää koko meidän tapaninpäivämme. Huhheijaa. Voin onnekseni kertoa, että olemme kaikki hengissä ja hyvissä voimissa, mutta päivä kului lähinnä aineellisten vahinkojen parissa.
Aamulla löysin ensin ison lasilyhtyni pihalta myrskyn murskaamana. No big deal, mutta otti päähän, kun se oli loppusyksystä lähtien seissyt tuulikaapissa suttuisena ja täynnä jälkiä ruohonleikkurin silppusateesta, ja olin juuri jouluksi saanut vihdoin sen puhtaaksi, irrottanut lasit ja kiillottanut ja kuurannut ja koonnut taas kasaan.
Systeri siinä poikkesikin päivälenkillään, mutta viipyi kovin lyhyen tovin, sillä halusi jatkaa ulkoiluaan, ja isännän serkku oli perheineen tulossa meille piipahtamaan. Kohta vierailun jälkeen touhusinkin keittiössä, kun kuului yhtäkkiä ihan valtaisa ryminä ja heti päälle Onnin parkuminen. Säntäsimme tohkeissamme katsomaan, mitä oli tapahtunut, ja eikö tämä pieni Karate-Kid ollut isosiskonsa kurinpidollisia toimia vastustaessaan potkaissut oveaan, mutta osunut vahingossa oven huurrelasi-ikkunaan, joka nyt oli osittain sirpaleina lattialla ja loput oli säpäleinä karmeissa tipahtamalla hetkellä minä hyvänsä.
Nyt oli onni onnettomuudessa sanonnan kaikissa merkityksissä, sillä pikkukaveri oli saanut kantapäähänsä aivan mini-minisen haavan, josta juuri ja juuri tuli sen verran verta, että potilas halusi siihen laastarin. Ja sitten siivoamaan sotkua! Isäntä avasi vasaralla pokat kunnolla, että saatiin viimeisetkin lasinrippeet pois ikkuna-aukosta, meitsi keräsi isompia lasinpaloja sankoon ja Julia imuroi. Onni oli aivan pois tolaltaan tapahtuneesta, ja vaikka hän sai toruja hölmöilystään, lohduttelimme häntä myös kovasti toteamalla, että vahinkoja tietysti aina joskus tapahtuu. Mä olin lähinnä helpottunut siitä, ettei jouduttu lähtemään sairaalaan tikkaamaan ketään!
Alkuillan Julle, isäntä ja minä vietimme leffassa katsomassa uutta Star Warsia, sillä aikaa kun pojat oleskelivat yhdessä kotona uuden pleikkarinsa lumoissa. Juho oli jo nähnyt leffan, ja Onnia pidimme liian pienenä katsomaan moista räiskintää. Tykkäsimmekin elokuvasta koko lailla, tuntui jotenkin tosi symppikseltä nähdä Harrison Ford ja Carrie Fisher valkokankaalla, ja tykästin myös Daisy Ridleyn roolisuorituksesta, joskin totesimme Julian kanssa aivan yhteen ääneen sen, että hänessä häiritsi ilmiselvä samankaltaisuus Keira Knightleyn kanssa – suu ja koko kasvojen alaosa, tapa puhua, erittäin posh brittiläinen aksentti, jopa tapa liikehtiä.
Palasimme leffasta tyytyväisinä ja nälkäisinä, ja tuskin olin päässyt keittiöön värkkäämään jouluruokaan kyllästyneelle perheelle paistinperunoita ja nakkeja, kun kuului taas hirveä rymähdys. Mä olin ihan että ei voi olla totta, mitä NYT, ja kun säntäsin ulos keittiöstä, porukka oli pystyttämässä joulukuusta, joka oli kaatunut.

Siitä kuusesta on ollut nyt niin paljon riesaa, etten KOSKAAN enää osta yksin ja omin päin tähän talouteen joulukuusta. Mä kun luulin tekeväni hyvän teon raahaamalla se ajoissa Eurajoelta, mutta perhe on virnistellyt sen rungon vinoudelle niin paljon, että hyvä on, tästä lähtien tyydyn siihen, mitä isäntä tänne tuo. Mä kun vaan katsoin, että se on tuuhea, mutten juuri kiinnittänyt muuhun huomiota. Anyway, painopiste on sen verran keskikohdan ulkopuolella, että kun sitä oltiin aiemmin päivällä tönitty muutaman kerran, kevyt kosketus katkaisi kamelin selän eli kuusen tasapainon.
Ja jälleen onni onnettomuudessa: se EI kaatunut olkkarin lasipöydän päälle, eikä YKSIKÄÄN kuusen lasipalloista tai -sydämistä särkynyt. Ainut rikki mennyt koriste on tuo kuvassa näkyvä muovinen jouluenkeli, joka kuuluu aina kuusen latvan lähelle ripustettavaan enkelitrioon. Tänään korjasin enkeliparan pikaliimalla ja siellä se taas killuu.
Että tällaista tänne. Siskoni vastasi tekstiviestiini tapahtuneista, että ei teillä ainakaan tylsää ole. – Ei, ei ole. Menihän tossa jo aatto ja joulupäivä varsin rauhaisissa merkeissä, niin että olikin jo aika vähän tapahtua jotain raflaavaa.
Tekeville sattuu ja Onnilla oli onni mukana, eikä käynyt pahemmin. Huh huh. Nyt luulisi vahinkokiintiön olevan täynnänsä. Uusin kujein kohti vuotta 2016!
Äläpä muuta viserrä. Touhoankka vietiin nyt pariksi päiväksi mummolaan, saadaan ehkä hieman lepoa mekin 😀
